Newly Introduced Road Surfacing Material "Emcrete" which has been successfully applied in Zhongshan and Xiamen City
"Emcrete"-our newly introduced road Surfacing material is water-based MMA polymer modified material having strong wearing resistant proprety. It has been successfully applied to the concrete main carriage surface of Donghe Bridge of zhongshan section of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and Xingling toll station ETC channel of Shenyang-Haikou Expressway.
Two months after the investigation,Emcrete has been suffered form high temperature,rain and heavy traffic loading,Emcrete is slice in very good condition.
Main purposes of EMCRETE material
• Airport taxiway, take-off and landing runway
• New and old asphalt road surface
• • New and old concrete bridge surface, tunnel road surface
• Expressway ramp
• Concrete traffic surface at expressway tool stations

• Areas requiring improvement of friction and slip resistance
Main characteristics of EMCRETE
• One composite material consisting of water-based MMA polymer, superfine wear-resistant powder.
•It can be solidified quickly (2h on daytime and 5h at evening under 23℃ before the road is put into use).
• The average thickness is only 3mm.
• It is of good slip-protection performance (with different grains, the friction coefficient BPN can be up to 50~90).
• It can resist chemicals, fuel oil, etc.
• It is applicable to various environments and specially UV-resistant.
• It can reduce the surface temperature of asphalt.
• It can strong adhere to the asphalt and concrete surface.
• It is an odorless water-based non-toxic material which is free from pollution.
• Many colors are available.
• The traveling noises on the road surface can be reduced, and the driving comfort can be improved.
